I was born in İzmir in 1988. I completed my medical education at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine between 2006 and 2012.
Immediately following my graduation, I began my professional career in 2012 as a general practitioner at the Pediatric Emergency Clinic of Şanlıurfa Children's Hospital. After gaining intensive emergency service experience there, I worked as a Pediatrics resident at Bezmialem Vakıf University between 2013 and 2016. This period provided me with a holistic perspective and a sensitivity-focused approach to medical care.
Deciding to steer my career in a new direction, I completed my specialization training in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa).
After completing my mandatory service at Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital, I returned to Istanbul.
Since 2021, I have been serving at the Medipol Mega University Hospital Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center. Being part of the team from the clinic's inception has provided me with invaluable experience in establishing and managing clinical operations.
Why Did I Create This Website?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a specialized process involving technical details where patient compliance directly impacts success.
Although I perform the necessary examinations and explain the process verbally in detail to every patient visiting our clinic, I have observed that some information can be forgotten due to stress or the busyness of the moment.
I created this platform as a reference resource so that my patients and their relatives can access accurate information whenever they wish—before or during the treatment process—and to ensure that referred patients have preliminary knowledge about the process and can resolve any questions they may have.
